Food Trip Friday #36: Buko Pandan with Mango bits

I like best pandan and so when I attended a blog anniversary celebration of Occasions of Joy last week and saw this in a dessert platter, I did not let the chance pass without tasting the delicious mango pandan. I don’t exactly know the name of the dessert. What I am sure of is that, it has mango and pandan flavor. I got a dessert plate for myself and satisfy myself to full. It’s not too sweet and just perfect for my dessert with a taste and bits of mango.

Food Trip Friday #35: Heavy Lunch in Tagaytay

I was not really hungry when we arrived in Tagaytay last Saturday for a mini HS reunion. I am used to only a cup of coffee for breakfast. My high school buddies were, and they traveled all the way from Batangas. We ordered Bulalo, Crispy Pata, Shrimps and Kare Kare. Bulalo is restaurant specialty.

Food Trip Friday #34: Lunch at Cheesecake

Before heading to ParenTin event last sunday, my younger daughter and I had our lunch at Cheesecake at The Podium. My daughter ordered Fettucine Carbonara and Mocha cake instead of their house specialty, cheesecake, for her dessert.

Food Trip Friday #33: Thursday visit for Food Trip Friday.

Jes with kids and her mom visited us yesterday. Thank you Jes for the visit and the yummy pichi pichi. She brought us pichi pichi (or peachy peachy?) in cheese and coconut flakes..

I finished all the pichi pichi with coconut flakes in one eating today. Perfect for snack with hot or cold coffee. My younger daughter prefers the cheesy one. So yummy that it melts in your mouth on its own. (parang M&M lang) hihi.

Jes’ kids only wanted Stik-O and when I asked them what they want me to cook the next time they visit us, Ethan answered, “I want only nuggets and corned beef.”
