Creamy Tuscan Chicken

The recipe is  not mine. I just followed the recipe I found online.   But here’s my  own take of Creamy Tuscan Chicken.

Ingredients:

Italian Meal Base Dolmio Sauce
500g chicken
2/3 cup thickened cream
1 red capsicum
1 zucchini
200g pasta

Cook  the pasta according to packet instructions.   Heat oil in pan and cook diced chicken until brown.    Add sliced capsicum, sliced zucchini, Italian Meal Base and thickened cream, stir and cook for 3 minutes.    Add cooked pasta to pan and stir through.

I garnish with cheese and ground basil leaves to enhance the taste.

Try it on your own and tell me how it taste.  You’ll never  be  wrong with any pasta recipe  with  cheese.   Just use Parmesan for better taste.

Alfredo Pasta Sauce

Three pasta posts  in a row. I guess pasta is the easiest recipe for us and now becomes a  trend to our cravings.   My daughters love pasta and wouldn’t? Only vegetarians would say no to pasta.

For recipe today, I’ll be sharing Alfredo Pasta which I think is the simplest using chicken meat. Preparation will take only 5 to 10  minutes.

Ingredients:

2 cups cream

1/4 cup butter

Parmesan cheese

salt and pepper

Parsley

chopped
Garlic (optional)

Bring the pasta to boil. It usually takes 11 to 14 minutes.  Drain. Set aside.

Heat a saucepan and put a little water before melting the butter to avoid the butter to stick to the pan. Saute garlic in a butter.  Put the chicken meat.  Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes.  Add garlic and cheese. Stir. Served with parsley and top with cheese.

It’s not always pasta every week. It’s just that we crave for it these days. Easy to crave just as easy to prepare.

Alfredo sauce recipes were known as “al burro” or “with butter” in Rome.
Butter and Parmesan cheese are blended with rich cream.

Tamato Basil Pene Pasta

I’m glad that preparing tomato based sauce isn’t hard for my children to take. They don’t like spaghetti with sweet style sauce and would request to cook even just tuna with a little tomato sauce. Just sprinkle a good cheese and it’s done for them.
I even tried tomato dice with basil and oregano and they liked it.

Here’s my simple recipe of my Tomato Basil Pene Pasta.

It’s so easy just like how I prepare other pasta.

Cook the pasta in a large bowl about 11 to 14 minutes. Drain.  Set aside.

Saute garlic, onion, tomato diced, basil, oregano flavor and mushroom. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.  Put  the pasta and sprinkle with cheese and its good to go! Simple right?
