Food Trip Friday #47: Chopsuey

When I saw fresh veggies in supermarket the other day, I picked all the ingredients for chopsuey and cook this for dinner.

Here is my recipe.

1/4 giniling
1/4 chicken liver
1 large onion (chopped)
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 pc carrots sliced
1/4 cauliflower
4 pieces young corn
4 pieces sliced of broccoli
2 stalks celery chopped into 1″ long
10 pcs string beans (cut into 1.5″
2 pcs bell pepper
1 cup meat broth
1 tbsp cornstarch
pepper
fish sauce
oyster sauce
2 tbsp oil

Saute garlic, onion. Add fried and cooked giniling (instead of giniling, I used barbeque pork meat). Add chicken liver. Saute for two minutes and pour fish sauce. After three minutes, add meat or chicken broth. Let it boil, add all vegetables. When half cooked, add cornstarch and oyster sauce to thicken the sauce. Remember not to overcooked the vegetables. Serve hot or toppings to rice.

You can also add quail eggs and shrimp instead of meat.
