FTF 81# Pancit Lomi

Lomi noodles is popular in the Philippines. It is usually served in a Chinese or expensive restaurant. It is also common sold by street food vendors already packed in a container or in a plastic bag for merienda.

There are different ways of cooking lomi. I’ll share you the easiest. It is cooked with fresh egg noodles. Lomi noodles could be think, thin or flat but whatever you want your noodles to be, the taste wouldn’t matter at all.

How to cook. In a pan, saute onion and garlic. Put the broth and bring to boil. Add carrot, kikiam pork and liver and bring to boil. Next is cabbage and noodles. Simmer for 5 to ten minutes. The broth will thicken as it boils because of the starch from noodles itself. Season with patis and pepper. Pour the beaten eggs and slightly stir until cooked. Option. You may the liver just before few minutes before it is cooked to keep it just done.
