Roasted Pig or Lechon

The Spaniards introduced Lechon to Filipinos many years ago but others claimed that roasted pig or Lechon first came from the Chinese. Lechon or roasted pig is the highlight of many festivities like birthdays, reunions or parties. When my PIL came for a vacation, they all craved for Lechon and thought that their vacation will not be complete without tasting the crispy skin which is the favorite part of Lechon. You can buy Lechon at La Loma, known as the “Lechon Capital of the Philippines. ” We bought a kilo from Mila’s Lechon and savor the crispy taste of roasted pig from crispy skin to its meat. Good thing about Lechon is that, you can cook the leftover into Paksiw na Lechon.

Now, count the calories how many times did I use Lechon in my post. ___
